I have a Kubota L3250 (not exactly compact) that drains the juice out of its brand new battery if I let it sit for 3-4 weeks. Then when I try to jump it with my car, I get obvious taxing of the car motor when I turn on the glow plugs, but only a single click and then a blackout when I try to crank it. From there on, the lights don't work, and I can do anything I want with the key and I'll get no response, even with the jumper cables still hooked up. It's like there is some sort of circuit breaker. <br> The first time I gave up and let a dealer come and start it for me. Unfortunately I wasn't there, and he said it started just fine, like I didn't have clean terminals or something. He has no incentive to help me understand the problem, in fact he stands to gain if I don't. Anyone out there who can enlighten me? Thanks much, Doug
